Sfääri was brewed by Bullhouse Brew Co in collaboration with Finnish brewer Mikko, winner of the Wee County Home Brewers Competition. The competition gave Mikko the opportunity to scale his original recipe using the Bullhouse brewing system, resulting in a beer that combines international brewing creativity with the quality and consistency associated with one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting independent breweries.
The beer’s name, Sfääri, translates to Sphere in Finnish and reflects both the collaborative nature of the project and the rounded tropical flavour profile delivered throughout the beer. The hop bill is particularly impressive, featuring Idaho-7, Citra, Cryo, Galaxy, and Nectaron hops layered together to create intense aromas and flavours of pineapple, passionfruit, mango, peach, citrus zest, and ripe tropical fruit.
