Q. Who are you?

A. is the online branch of O'Brien Retail Concepts Ltd t/a Carry Out Off Licence Tyrrelstown and Carry Out Off Licence Mulhuddart in Dublin 15. From 2014 to 2022, our online branch was beers only under the name

Q. Is there a minimum order amount to shop online?

A. There is no minimum order when shopping with us online, however, there is a shipping surcharge of €2 for extra packing required for orders under €25.

Q. Can I create an account?

A. Yes, if you create an account, we will store delivery addresses and contact phone numbers for subsequent orders, however, for security reasons we do not store your credit card details and you will need to enter these each time you place an order.

Q. Where’s my order?

A. If you have any questions about delivery or would like to check the status of an order that you have placed, you can log in to your account or contact us by emailing or call +353 (0)1 4853171 To help us assist you as quickly as possible please quote your order reference number - this will have been sent to you on your order confirmation email.

We typically dispatch the next working day with delivery for the Island of Ireland within 2 to 5 working days. The majority of our orders are delivered within 2 working days of placing the order. However, it may take longer during busier times (Black Friday, Christmas, Father’s Day, etc).

Q. Can I cancel my order?

A. You can cancel your order immediately up to the point of dispatch. Simply contact us at or call +353 (0)1 4853171. To help us assist you as quickly as possible please quote your order reference number - this will have been sent to you in your order confirmation email.

Q. Can I return my order?

A. Yes, you have 15 days to return or exchange your order – beginning the day you receive delivery of your order.

Orders can be returned free of charge at our physical store, Carry Out Tyrrelstown, Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15- Please note a printout of your original confirmation email will be required as proof of sale in order for us to process your refund. The card used in the transaction will be refunded, it can take 10 working days for your refund to be processed. Please note process times may vary depending on your bank.

While we are more than happy to help if you wish to return goods that are not faulted or damaged you will be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods. Returned goods must be in a resaleable condition with labels intact. When returning a set of products e.g. a mixed case or gift box, all products must be present with the set complete. When posting returns, suitable packaging must be used to ensure safe delivery. We suggest you retain your original delivery packing for this purpose.

Q. What do I do if my package hasn’t arrived or is damaged?

We offer the choice of either a replacement or a full refund including any delivery costs incurred.

Q. Who are your delivery partner(s)? How long does delivery take?

A. An Post and DPD are our delivery partners. Dispatch is usually the next working day. However, it may take longer during busier times (Black Friday, Christmas, Father’s Day, etc)

Q. Can I do click & collect? If so what are the hours that I can collect?

A. Yes, we also offer a collection service, where you order online and collect your order generally the next working day from Carry Out Tyrrelstown, Unit 7 Tyrrelstown Town Centre, Dublin 15, D15 E3C9. 

Carry Out Tyrrelstown opening hours: Monday to Saturday 10.30 am to 10 pm, Sunday 12.30 pm to 10 pm.

Q. How long will you hold items ordered for collection?

A. Due to space limitations, we will only hold orders (for collection) in-store for 10 working days following their fulfillment. If there are extenuating circumstances (e.g. covid), please email to update us, and we will extend the period as necessary.

After those 10 working days, we will cancel the order. A restocking fee of 25% of the order will be charged.

Note: Restocking fees are only applied for orders for collection that are not collected within the 10 working days of being fulfilled and have subsequently been canceled.

Q. How Can I Maximise The Cost Of Shipping?

A. Our standard shipping box contains 12 slots. Each slot can hold 1 330ml/500ml bottle or 2 cans. 

Due to the shape of some of the larger 750ml bottles, they take up the space of 2 slots.

Our standard shipping box can hold 2 5L/6L mini-kegs or 2 Blade Kegs.

Due to the permutations of combinations of products (and their different shapes) that we carry, we may not always get the shipping exactly right. In the cases that we are able to safely fit your order into fewer shipping boxes, we refund any un-needed extra shipping. This decision is made on our years of experience in dealing with a large range of Irish/International couriers and typically very delicate products.
