You Must Be 18 or Over
You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase alcohol from TheCru.ie.
By placing an order containing alcohol, you confirm that you are legally entitled to purchase alcohol and that any person receiving or collecting the order is also aged 18 or over.
Age Verification on Delivery
Alcohol must only be delivered to a person aged 18 or over.
The person accepting the delivery may be asked to provide valid proof of age if their age cannot be reasonably verified.
If satisfactory proof of age cannot be provided when requested, the courier may be unable to complete the delivery.
Click & Collect
The person collecting an order containing alcohol from Carry Out Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15 must be aged 18 or over.
Our team may request valid proof of age before handing over an order containing alcohol.
If satisfactory proof of age cannot be provided when requested, we may refuse to release the order.
Proof of Age
Where proof of age is requested, customers should provide a valid form of photographic identification showing their date of birth, such as a passport, driving licence or other recognised proof-of-age identification.
The identification must be valid and clearly identify the person presenting it.
Responsible Sale of Alcohol
We reserve the right to refuse the sale, collection or handover of alcohol where we have reasonable grounds to believe that:
- the purchaser or recipient is under 18;
- satisfactory proof of age has not been provided when requested; or
- the alcohol is being purchased or collected on behalf of a person under 18.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
