This area, enriched by the "bubbling" River Barrow – mentioned by the ancient writer Ptolemy – provides an ideal setting for cultivating the exceptional barley used in this single malt.

The McDonnell family, who have tended the land at Ratheadon for five decades, contribute their deep-rooted knowledge and passion for barley cultivation to this exquisite whisky.
