Planteray Cut & Dry Coconut Rum 70cl 40% is a premium coconut-infused Barbados rum that puts real coconut flavour at the centre of the experience. Produced using 100% Barbadian rum and naturally dried coconuts, it combines rich tropical character with vanilla, banana, gentle spice and the depth of traditional Caribbean rum.

Cut & Dry takes its inspiration from the Barbadian tradition of combining coconut and rum. Ripe coconuts are harvested, cracked open and naturally dried before the coconut pieces are infused in a blend of unaged column-still and Gregg pot-still Barbados rums. This infusion is then blended with Barbados rum aged for up to three years. Remarkably, approximately one whole coconut is used for every litre of rum produced.

The aroma is intensely coconut-led, accompanied by vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, creamy coconut milk develops alongside vanilla, ripe banana, green ginger, molasses and subtle herbal notes. Coconut continues through the long finish with pepper and vanilla providing balance.

At 40% ABV, this is very different from the lower-strength, heavily sweetened coconut drinks customers may be familiar with. The underlying Barbados rum remains an important part of the flavour, giving Cut & Dry enough complexity to enjoy over ice while making it an excellent cocktail ingredient.

Try it in a Piña Colada, Coconut Daiquiri or tropical highball, or simply serve over ice when you want the coconut and rum to take centre stage.
