Producer History

Chivas Brothers has been an influential name in whisky since 1801, when it began as a luxury goods merchant in Aberdeen, Scotland. Recognising a demand for smoother, more refined whisky, the company pioneered the art of blending, eventually leading to the creation of Chivas Regal in 1909.

Strathisla Distillery, the heart of Chivas Regal, is the oldest operating distillery in Speyside, dating back to 1786. This historic site provides the signature malt used in Chivas Regal whiskies, contributing to their rich and elegant character.
