Founded in 2017, Rec Brew takes its name from “El Rec,” the historical district in Igualada that once housed tanneries, now home to a thriving cultural and creative hub. The brewery was launched by a small group of friends with a passion for contemporary beer styles and international collaborations. Drawing inspiration from the US hazy IPA movement and the Scandinavian minimalist aesthetic, Rec Brew quickly carved out a name for itself as one of Spain’s leading modern breweries.
