About the Brewery
Rochefort is one of only a handful of Trappist breweries worldwide, with a brewing tradition that dates back centuries. The monks of Abbaye de Notre-Dame de Saint-Remy continue to brew within the abbey walls, using water from a local spring and carefully selected ingredients to craft their revered ales.
Rochefort 6 is the most accessible of the Rochefort beers, but shares the same philosophy and brewing techniques as its stronger siblings, Rochefort 8 and Rochefort 10. Its reputation has grown steadily since its first release, cementing its place as a classic Belgian Dubbel enjoyed internationally.
Food Pairings
Rochefort 6 pairs beautifully with roast chicken, pork dishes, and game meats, where its malt depth enhances savoury flavours. It also complements nutty cheeses and pairs delightfully with desserts like bread pudding, spiced cakes, or dark chocolate.
